Light

In the dead of night,

When nothing seems right,

I see a flickering light.

My ghosts tell me thrice,

If it extinguishes, who will pay the price?

My fears fear & I fall twice.

In the serene hours of dawn.

My heart beat skips at moments gone.

I bid farewell to forgotten forlorn.

I see a flickering light.

It warms my day with delight.

I sleep to meet a day bright.
