LOST HERSELF

And She was the girl, Who lost herself, In the hurries & worries, Of a hyped life.   But Where is the girl? Who once giggled, Every time she sniggled, And fluttered in delight. Or Will she meet the girl? Once she was. Let her pause & unwind, But still she can rewind.

THICK FOG

It was the thick fog, That reigned the roads. Vehicles & men marched, Fields & fallows were no more parched.     Hustle & bustle on the damp road, Honking & sirens roared. Queues of thirsty   sedans, Quenched at gas station.   This glory of fog was short-lived. A splendor to be bereaved. Like a bubble, fog burst. And tears of mist settled on hurst.   Everyone cheered to welcome the sun. Fog was fed on the sun burn.

Small Steps

From life mate to soul mate, That’s our journey of tug & love. From sneakers to stilettos, Those contrasting choices defeated our woes. Many a mile we have trudged. Now we love what we had grudged. My eyes are keen to flirt with your eyes. Our warmth breaks the ice. Our first date in a rush, there was a gush, Of   dancing butterflies. Still the same, who says time flies? It is a voyage of high & low tide. You on my side, we will stride.
