Womb for rent , rented to barren wombs.

Baby factory filled with fertile womb.

 

A service provider provides commodities called wombs.

Free market for buy and sell.

Commercial contract of nature, the abnormal normal.

Splendid India, the favored location.

Cheap labor labored to cease.

 

No rights, only plights, the unethical ethics.

Fodder food fed to the heifer.

Nine months to be the cow.

Heavy belly in tow, unceasing wait of nines.

Masquerade mum, Ah!  the pun.

 

Taut air welcomes the neonate.

In a trice, newbie in novice lap.

Withered womb set to rent-a-womb.

Mind plagued to hoodwink wounded womb.

Debits bartered the rented womb.

​ Sometimes the smallest encounters leave an imprint that stays for longer than you would expect. A moment becomes a memory, amalgamated from both sweet and bitter experiences. I love the prairie summers, and getting home on the bus is my favorite part of the day. Sometime in July, 2024, I was all set to enjoy my bus ride. ​ Like a song that lingers in the mind, And we sing unaware of why we sing. Somedays people, other days events, Repeat in my mind. Today, I was under the spell of the word, nitpicking- not that I was enriching my vocabulary, But thinking of what memories it brought, Bittersweet or sweeter bitter.
