Seasons and reasons

Shards of glass sweep the floor.

My glass house moaned its crack.

Fatigued feet fail to fill the crash.

Dew drops drip my dry palms.

Chastised wind elopes in amber forests.

Ah! The ambrosial of fading lilies and roses.

Whispering leaves kiss the weeds.

Autumns magical twilight wigwags the silent sea.

Spooling and unspooling the game of clouds and stars.

Wilted browns wait for lushy greens.

Dim days daze the tawny fire ball.

Patience, the burden, hefty to embrace.

Birds on flight for grains and nestling.

A sea of orange leaves, meow framed for Halloween.

Hibernate to be back after the break so short.

Pause and ponder to shaking rustles.

Wings and feet whinge to renew.

Replay, pause and restart...
