TRAIN of Thought

From one junction to another

A rail ride to the realm of riddles

Hawkers, vendors and passengers painted the platform

Clickety-clack, whistle-stop and on track

Jerks, halts and restart.

Ticket master mastered the cliché

“Destination please! Decide or move out.”

My feeble mind wished to say,

“Dystopian dream, nowhere to go!”

Fluttering butterflies devoured my heart

I announced,” Mount Kailash to Amarnath.

Ticket please!”

Miles and miles, I travelled

Troubled with add-on baggage at each terminus

Impediments and blocks I unblocked

Trekking and climbing to learn snow-capped peaks.

Paused, thought and mirrored

Hunger to discover, greed to seek

Trapped in the mirror maze, was it I or the fancy masks?

Benumbed, one more time at the raucous platform

Sages, money bags, bourgeois, and scroungers

Compartment full to the brim with assorted noises

Ticket master, a moaner or a groaner

Samey query, “Destination please! Decide or move out.”

My hearty mind wished to say,

“Seeking the seeker, Lo! Seeker was me.”

I tenderly said,

” I will go to a place where streets are not marked.

Ticket please!”

Ticket master addled

“No ticket to the nowhere place.”
