I stumbled many a times

This time it was exploring happiness

Ah! Was it the Alchemy of life?

 

Invested in folks and kin

Return was rifts, muddles and hubbubs

Botched in getting that magic potion

Happiness, the dose for contentment

 

Dazzling Virtual world of likes

Leaning on fancy websites

Envy, vying and oblivion

Unreached pursuit to joy

 

 

Material appeal in branded bags and shoes

Apparels, cosmetics and ornaments

Cluttered and decluttered

Discontented contentment clocked in

 

Astrology, Tarot and Oracles

Transient trust in Intransient

Soothing words of solace

Failed in attaining the pill labelled happiness

 

 

Holy Scriptures, Vedas and Mantras

Memorizing chants and carols

Vague Know- how and Insights

Delved into the thin acumen

 

 

Vainly perceived destination

Trudged the sketchy path

Bubbleheaded I was till the bubble burst

Anima answered my quest

​ Sometimes the smallest encounters leave an imprint that stays for longer than you would expect. A moment becomes a memory, amalgamated from both sweet and bitter experiences. I love the prairie summers, and getting home on the bus is my favorite part of the day. Sometime in July, 2024, I was all set to enjoy my bus ride. ​ Like a song that lingers in the mind, And we sing unaware of why we sing. Somedays people, other days events, Repeat in my mind.
