REFLECTIONS



Locker room or any other male chauvinist room
Don’t take someone for a ride
Abusing someone is no pride
You talk of the evolution of society

Be courageous to break the typecasts of humanity
Calling women the weaker sex
Belittling those who are the reason for your being
Moralizing alone shall seldom  break the ways

Upholding is the only pathway to drive
Daughters stand up with unison
To bout this disgrace
And accomplish grace

Sons of the soil
Curb this immorality
Lend a helping hand
Usher the felons to morality

Evolve the self to contemplate
Nay! Not  in words but in deeds

    This phrase is eye opening! Why disrespect parents when your existence occurred only due to them?

​ Sometimes the smallest encounters leave an imprint that stays for longer than you would expect. A moment becomes a memory, amalgamated from both sweet and bitter experiences. I love the prairie summers, and getting home on the bus is my favorite part of the day. Sometime in July, 2024, I was all set to enjoy my bus ride. ​ Like a song that lingers in the mind, And we sing unaware of why we sing. Somedays people, other days events, Repeat in my mind. Today, I was under the spell of the word, nitpicking- not that I was enriching my vocabulary, But thinking of what memories it brought, Bittersweet or sweeter bitter.
